Downtown Boulder Partnership is seeking a cake decorator for our busy ice cream and bakery counter. You will icing, decorate, box and price cakes for weddings, birthdays and special occasions, while maintaining product case fullness and friendly service.

You should be organized, able to work quickly without compromising quality, and take pride in our brand standards. Flexible scheduling and a safe, enjoyable work environment are offered.

Qualifications

Major Duties

• Control consistency and quality of product
• Perform freshness checks and recondition product
• Date and rotate product
• Maintains courteous and friendly customer relations

Responsibilities

The cake decorator is responsible for icing, decorating, merchandising, boxing, pricing, and selling cakes in the bakery.

Decorates cakes for customer orders, general sales, weddings, birthdays, and special occasions. Takes and fills customer’s orders and keeps the case full of product.

• Operates icing tools, stocks dollies, mixing machines, mechanical price marking devices, and follows food safety guidelines.
