Ukrop's Homestyle Foods in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a full-time Cake Decorator to bring our bakery creations to life with artistry and precision. This on-site role focuses on decorating a variety of cakes and cupcakes, aligning with customer specifications and seasonal themes, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of cake decorating experience in a commercial bakery.
• Proficient decorating techniques and color coordination.

Responsibilities

• Decorate sheet, round, and layer cakes, and cupcakes per customer and internal specifications.
• Assemble, prep, slice, and package finished bakery products.
• Operate and sanitize production equipment, including slicers and packaging machines.
• Label, inspect, and sort baked goods for quality control and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and SQF.
• Immediately report any food safety or quality concerns to a supervisor.
• Assist other bakery staff as needed to meet production goals.
