Job summary

Stauffers of Kissel Hill is seeking a full-time Team Member at the Mount Joy Fresh Foods location. The role involves 7am–4pm shifts with availability 7 days a week, and offers weekly pay, a 10% employee discount, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision.

Responsibilities include assisting with new product ideas, decorating cakes, managing inventories, and ensuring accurate production and display of bakery items.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a hot kitchen environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of new product ideas.
• Decorate specialty cakes and participate in seasonal cake events.
• Assist with ordering of supplies and knowledge of inventories.
• Mix cakes, icing, and other bakery items as needed.
• Produce quantities according to sales projections.
• Record best-selling cakes and notify management.
• Ensure proper production of bakery goods in the absence of bakers or supervisors.
• Keep the department area and equipment clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the development and implementation of new product ideas.
• Decorates specialty cakes and works with seasonal cake events.
• Has knowledge of current inventories and ordering systems to assist with the ordering ofsupplies as needed.
• Mixes cakes, icing and other items as needed.
• Produces correct quantities of products, according to sales projections from week to week.
• Records best selling cakes and notifies management.
• Responsible for the proper production of bakery goods, in the absence of bakers,department asistants and/or management.
• Cleans department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and displaycases; keeping products and supplies well organized..
• Operates price scale with knowledge of current prices. Prices or changes price tags onmerchandise referring to price list and in coordination with scan department.
• Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons and crates of merchandise, checking invoice againstitems received. Promptly clears floor of all restocking equipment and debris.
• Sets and signs displays of merchandise to attract customers and promote sales.
• Takes and processes customer orders according to customer request ensuring that product is ready on time.
• Takes inventory or examines merchandise on a regular basis, to identify items needing to bereordered or replenished.

Qualifications

• While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly exposed to hot temperatures whileworkingaround kitchen equipment.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to50 pounds.
• The employee must be at least 18 years old.
