Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests upon entry
• Maintain positive atmosphere and morale within the department
• Support division concepts and programs
• Ensure quality and availability of products
• Follow Bakery Food Safety Procedures and Sanitation Schedule
• Perform decorating tasks and help develop team members
• Safeguard bakery assets
• Practice safe work habits and maintain cleanliness
• Follow recipes and procedures with approved ingredients
• Complete special orders, including wedding cakes
• Assist in break-out and dishwashing as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Key Requirements

• Preferably one year's experience in cake decorating
• Ability to work efficiently at a fast pace
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Work in a freezer for up to 15 minutes
• Basic math skills
• Accept supervisory coaching
• Flexible with hours, including weekends and holidays
• Maintain current food safety certification
• Team-oriented attitude
