Job summary

Stauffers of Kissel Hill is seeking a full-time bakery team member on Rohrerstown Road Fresh Foods. Availability Monday through Sunday from 7am to 5pm is required. The role offers weekly pay and a strong benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with hot temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the development and implementation of new product ideas.
• Decorates specialty cakes and works with seasonal cake events.
• Has knowledge of current inventories and ordering systems to assist with the ordering of supplies as needed.
• Mixes cakes, icing and other items as needed.
• Produces correct quantities of products, according to sales projections from week to week.
• Records best selling cakes and notifies management.
• Responsible for the proper production of bakery goods in the absence of bakers and assistants.
• Cleans department area, equipment, storage areas, aisles, and display cases; keeps products organized.
• Operates price scale and updates price tags per price list and scan department coordination.
• Receives and unpacks merchandise, clears floor of restocking debris.
• Sets and signs displays to attract customers and promote sales.
• Takes and processes customer orders ensuring timely readiness.
• Takes inventory to identify items needing replenishment.

This is a full time position at our Rohrerstown Road Fresh Foods, requiring Monday through Sunday availability between the hours of 7am-5pm.

• Takes and processes customer orders according to customer request ensuring that product is ready on time.


• Takes inventory or examines merchandise on a regular basis, to identify items needing to bereordered or replenished.

Qualifications

• While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly exposed to hot temperatures whileworking around kitchen equipment.


• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to50 pounds.


• The employee must be at least 18 years old.
