Job description

Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the members expectations.

What You'll Do

Team Member: Collaborates with cross‑functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; remains flexible to business needs; maintains in‑stock levels and controls shrinkage.

Expert: Plans bakery production to ensure consistency and accuracy of decorative designs per recipe; works with various products (decorating bags, tips, nozzles) to create flowers and lettering; adheres to food‑safety, sanitation, storage and inventory standards; operates and sanitizes equipment; understands product layout and execution.

Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions on production, merchandise, ordering, training and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.

Owner: Drives bakery area performance; ensures quality and date‑control; eliminates waste; prepares for seasonal events (holidays, graduations, family events); identifies member needs; assists with purchasing decisions and resolves member issues.

Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate, values the member experience, and models high‑quality service; works with associates to understand roadblocks, trains, develops, and inspires them to work respectfully, supportively and team‑oriented.

Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity using the Open Door Policy and related action plans.

Completes work assignments by using data, resources and collaboration; identifies priorities, deadlines and expectations; communicates progress; recommends improvement opportunities; adapts and learns from change.

6 months' experience in Fresh Production Area; must be 18 years of age or older; must successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within the prescribed timeframe.
