Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Cake Decorator in Tipton, Indiana. You will decorate cakes and other bakery items, assist with daily bakery duties, and help keep the department clean, stocked and merchandised in line with store policy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and strong attention to detail. You may lift light loads and work in a typical retail bakery environment with safety guidelines and PPE in place.

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, cookies and other items per production schedule and customer requests.
• Bake or assist with bakery duties as assigned.
• Price, date, wrap and bag bakery products.
• Maintain clean, stocked and merchandised bakery shelves and displays.
• Assist in receiving, unloading and stocking merchandise.
• Follow safety and food handling guidelines and PPE.
