Job summary

Off The Hook Restaurants is seeking a diligent Cook to join our fast-paced Cajun kitchen. You will prepare and cook meals that align with our Real Cajun Real Fast standards, maintain cleanliness, and support the team to deliver great dining experiences.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of restaurant experience, are detail-oriented, and can work various shifts. Candidates must be 16 or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete required company training programs.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may change
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, weekends, and travel as needed for work related functions and training
• 1 year of restaurant experience
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
• Possess a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals that meet our restaurant's standards
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy
• Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience
• Handle a variety of kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of food, to prevent contamination and ensure the health of guests
• Use kitchen equipment and appliances safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management
• Work closely with other kitchen team and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations
