Job summary

Carthage Area Hospital in Carthage, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Department for part-time night shift (7p-7:30a).

You will deliver nursing care using the nursing process, communicate with patients and families, and adjust care plans as conditions change.

Requirements include NY RN license, BLS, ACLS within six months; physical duties include bending, lifting and standing; base pay is hourly with a $10k sign-on.

Pay Range $41.19-$58.37*+

Up to $10k Sign On****

A Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical Department delivers specialized, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in an acute care setting. Effectively communicates with patients, patient’s families, and other patient care team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Establishes priorities for nursing action according to patient’s needs and formulates appropriate care. Performs continuous assessments and revises care plans based upon patient’s condition.

Qualifications: Valid New York State RN License. Must maintain BLS certification. ACLS certification within six months of position start date.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
