CAH-GRADUATE NURSE – Internal Posting Dates: September 29, 2025-October 5, 2025

AIU– Graduate Nurse –Full-Time-Various Shifts- 7am-7pm/7p-7a Various– Req 9004

***Training will be conducted on day shift. Once licensed, you are able to bid in on open positions that are available***

Responsibilities

• A graduate nurse provides supervised patient care in the Medical Surgical Department using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in an acute care setting.


• Effectively communicates with patients, patients’ families, and other patient care team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes, while maintaining standards of professional nursing.


• Establishes priorities for nursing action according to patient’s needs and formulates appropriate care.


• Performs continuous assessments and revises care plans based upon patient’s condition.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing.


• Submittal of application for Licensure and Limited Permit.


• Paid required fees.


• Valid New York State RN License within one year of receiving limited permit.


• BLS certification
