Job summary

Carthage Area Hospital is seeking an ED Tech to support the Emergency Room team on a per diem basis. Shifts include night 7pm-7am with additional per diem day coverage as needed. The role assists physicians and nurses, maintains a clean, organized ER, and supports basic patient care tasks.

Qualifications include current or near-term BLS certification and preferred experience with EKG and phlebotomy; hospital experience is valued. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply through the website.

Pay Range: $22.05-$28.90* #

An ED Tech is a healthcare professional who assists emergency room (ER) doctors and nurses with delivering medical care. ED Techs keep the ER clean and organized and assist with basic patient care.

Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support certification current or within 6 months of hire.
• Medical experience, EKG competency & phlebotomy competency preferred

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
