Qualifications

ABOUT THE JOB:

The operator will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a steel cage welding machine that produces steel reinforcement for concrete pipe assembly, ensuring efficiency and productivity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform conversions from inches to metric accurately.
• Operate and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, or electronic equipment.
• Coordinate schedule with the Production Supervisor.
• Use and care for all equipment responsibly.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on the machine.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and use all required PPE.
• Inspect work area for safety hazards.
• Order, track supplies, equipment, and replacement parts.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Use of hand and power tools.
• Forklift and crane operation with certifications.
• Coordinate material flow for the machine.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience using relevant products and procedures.
