Job summary

Chumash Casino Resort is seeking a Cage/Vault Supervisor to oversee operations during the assigned shift, ensuring accurate cash handling and Title 31 reporting compliance. You will supervise staff, train new team members, and maintain a secure, collaborative work environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor's in Business/Finance and prior Cage/Vault experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Two years of casino Cage/Vault experience preferred.
• Experience in hospitality and/or sales is beneficial.
• Ability to pass a basic math assessment.
• Cash handling experience with U.S. currency.
• Knowledge of business and accounting systems/methods.
• Proficiency with computers, e-mail, and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Responds to guest inquiries and concerns.
• Interfaces with other departments professionally.
• Supervises Cage/Vault cash handling and accountability during a shift.
• Assists in training new Team Members.
• Maintains an orderly and positive working environment.
• Participates in performance evaluations and coaching.
• Assists in investigations of variances and prepares reports.
• Oversees Title 31 enforcement and reporting activities.
• Recommends changes to Cage/Vault procedures.
• Trains and mentors Team Members and promotes teamwork.
