Job summary

Odawa Casino Resort is seeking a Cage Supervisor to ensure efficient and accurate Cage Operations. You will support the Cage Manager, supervise staff, and help manage cash handling and compliance across Title 31 and TMICS policies.

Ideal candidates will have 3–4 years of cash handling in a gaming setting and at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. This role may require shifts and occasional work at other properties.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and three to four (3-4) years of cash handling experience in a gaming environment covering all areas of cage operations.
• Must have one (1) year proven supervisory experience.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Hire/terminate and evaluate staff; manage performance fairly.
• Maintain staffing levels within the Cage; adjust schedules as needed.
• Update and complete schedules and timesheets as needed.
• Delegate staff assignments and ensure fair treatment of Team Members.
• Supervise, train, schedule and counsel Cage Team Members on daily operations.
• Assist in ensuring Team Members are trained in Title 31 and TMICS compliance.
• Oversee Cage Cashier and Cage Mainbank duties and assist with tasks.
• Monitor Cage variances and related counseling/discipline.
• Monitor cash levels in Cage and Vault.
• Assist with Enterprise-wide Title 31 training and training Cage new hires.
• Ensure Team Members understand and comply with Cage policies and regulations.

Job Summary:Assists the Cage Managerwith insuring Cage Operations are efficiently and accurately ran and assignments are completed timely. Provides input on operational processes and all aspects pertaining to employee management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Makes recommendations to hire, terminate, demote, transfer, recommend merit increases, evaluate performance, create and adjust performance standards, and provide for the fair and equitable treatment of all Team Members.
• Responsible for maintaining proper staffing levels within the Cage, based on business needs, by reducing staff or callingstaff
• Update and complete schedules and timesheets asneeded.
• Delegates staff assignments and provides for the fair and equitable treatment of Team Members while maintaining a positive workenvironment
• Supervises, trains, schedules and counsels Cage Team Members with regard to dailyoperations
• Assists in ensuring Team Members are properly trained in Title 31 and other necessary complianceareas

• Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that may arise.
• Greet all guests and Team Members in a friendly, open manner.
• Maintain knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions and events at Odawa Casino Resort.

• Conducts oneself in a positive and professional manner, acting as a role model for all Team Members.
• Work assigned shifts asrequired.
• Visit staff on all shifts to ensure enhanced communications among all Team Members and Management.
