Job summary

Bally’s Kansas City Casino is seeking a Cage Cashier to provide friendly service while performing cage cashier duties and Main Bank responsibilities. This role oversees Cage operations, ensures adherence to policies, and collaborates with the Cage Shift Supervisor on operations.

The position requires basic math, strong communication, and the ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays. Missouri Gaming Commission license is required, with duties in a high-volume casino environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 2 years of cashiering or banking experience preferred.
• Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license required.
• Proficient use of office equipment: computer, photocopier, and 10-key calculator.
• Experience with Cage-related equipment (sorter, wrapper, credit card machine).
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Must work flexible shifts, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Read, write, and understand moderately complex instructions including internal controls.
• Clear communication with customers, casino departments, and team members.
• Knowledge of Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and related laws.
• Ability to perform duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly attitude toward all customers at all times.
• Perform all duties of Cage Cashier.
• Perform Main Bank responsibilities.
• Oversee Cage operations.
• Review Cage operations with Cage Shift Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist Cage Cashiers as needed.
• Assist with staff development and training.
• Review operational data and complete paperwork.
• Be knowledgeable of events and promotions.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Ensure safety and security of customers and team members.
• Comply with Bally’s Kansas City Casino policies and management instructions.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
