Cage Cashier

bestbet St. Augustine - 800 Market Place Dr. St. Augustine, FL 32084 (State Road 207 and Interstate 95)

Position Description

Performs cash-outs and buy-ins of poker chips and currency. Must handle these transactions accurately, honestly, and in a professional manner. Cashiers also work in support of the poker room, providing service including, but not limited to, tournament registration, customer service, and cash advances.

Full-time positions available, 30-40 hours per week:

1. Nights/Closing: Sun – Thu 9:30 PM - 4:30 AM, Fri/Sat 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM
2. Mid-shift: Sun-Friday 3:30 PM - 10:30 PM/11:30 PM
3. Must be available to work weekends

Rate: estimated $15-$17 per hour

1. $10.00 hourly rate plus tip share
2. Tip share is estimated to be $8-$10 per hour
3. Tip share will vary week-to-week

Requirements:

1. Must possess basic math skills
2. Must be energetic, outgoing, and able to relate well to co-workers and patrons.
3. Requires frequent lifting, bending, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs.
4. Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time is required.
5. Indoor climate-controlled environment which is occasionally loud.
6. Light data entry and clerical work
7. Customer service and cash handling experience is a plus.
