Responsibilities

  • Provide quality guest service by being knowledgeable about the casino, courteous, smiling, and providing prompt service.
  • Provide personal contact with customers and employees with eye contact, knowing names, and being helpful.
  • Provide change, redemption of coin, chips, and miscellaneous items for customers and employees.
  • Prepare table fills and machine fills as needed to replenish blackjack tables with chips and slot machines with coin.
  • Verify and pay jackpots to techs for all winners on the slot machines.
  • Maintain knowledge of coin counting and rolling machines for redeeming and rolling the coin brought by customers.
  • Troubleshoot problems with all machines and how to clean them for better operation.
  • Follow all cash handling policies and maintain accuracy.
  • Perform duties efficiently, using time and resources effectively.
  • Ensure safety by using proper lifting procedures and keeping the workspace clean.
  • Follow all policies and regulatory standards.
  • Legibly prepare paperwork at shift start and end.
  • Attend required meetings and trainings and communicate effectively.

Position Summary:

The Cage Cashier is responsible for ensuring each customer receives a high level of quality guest service by being knowledgeable, available to provide prompt friendly services, and using accurate money handling procedures while adhering to company policies, regulatory compliance, and mandates of confidentiality.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

The Cage Cashier is responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide quality guest service by being knowledgeable about the casino, being courteous, smiling, and providing prompt service .
  • Provide personal contact with customers and employees with eye contact, knowing names, and being helpful .
  • Provide change, redemption of coin, chips, and miscellaneous items for customers and employees .
