Job summary

River Rock Casino in Geyserville, CA is seeking a Cage Service Representative to provide courteous, prompt, and professional cashiering services to guests and Team Members. You will promote Players Club memberships and work with staff to enhance service and casino image.

The role requires six months cashiering/money handling and customer service experience, accurate money counting, and the ability to work independently. A high school diploma is required; knowledge of MS-Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Six months general cashiering background and/or money handling experience.
• Six months customer service experience dealing directly with customers.
• Must be able to count money, coins and chips accurately.
• 10-key touch required.
• Must have knowledge of Windows based applications including MS-Office (Word, Excel), MS-Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Must present professional appearance at all times.
• Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with respect to all matters pertaining to the gaming enterprise business.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior service to both internal and external customers.
• Promote Players Club memberships and casino promotions.
• Ensure proper internal control procedures and policies are followed.
• Responsible for casino assets assigned during shift.
• Identify denominations of chips, currency, and coin.
• Answer and direct callers; take messages.
• Page patrons using written scripts; announce as needed.
• Stay informed of casino events, promotions and entertainment.
• Work with staff to enhance guest service and casino image.
• Resolve customer disputes and escalate as needed to management.
• Memorize guest names and small facts to improve service.
• Maintain knowledge of casino games.
• Build rapport with guests.
• Knowledge of Title 31.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• Multi-task and cover two windows if required.
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to the gaming business.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Be a team player.
• Maintain accurate paperwork/documentation of monies.
• Suggest changes to improve guest and employee service.
• Greet and direct guests at assigned areas.
• Honor the River Rock ROCK philosophy.
• Present oneself as a credit to River Rock Casino.
