Job Duties

1. Handles all monetary transactions that occur within the daily Cage Operations functions, including cage cashiering, chip bank, marker bank, poker bank, ES cashiering, and impressment cashiering.
2. Distributes monies to guests via Slot Ticket redemption, chip redemption, and check cashing.
3. Processes monetary transactions for other departments and ensures that all transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
4. Responsible for securing the integrity of assigned assets and maintaining the accountability of company funds in accordance with Internal Controls and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations.
5. Assists in managing the traffic flow in and out of the poker games and registering players into the computerized seating program.
6. Helps to ensure the smooth operation of the poker room by exchanging chips for currency and removing chips.
7. Performs duties as a Chip Bank cashier, including accountability of the chips in the casino.
8. Responsible for the replenishment of currency and coin for the Ticket Redemption Units (TRU).
9. Monitors TRU Currency/Coin/BV levels and processes large amounts of currency for daily impressments of the TRUs.
10. Ensures timely and accurate preparation of all daily worksheets, checklists, and reports associated with TRUs.
11. Interacts with guests, encouraging membership in Players Club and Choice Card programs, and effectively handles questions/problems.
12. Processes new Players Card membership applications and maintains daily inventory of Players Card items redeemed.
13. Cage Cashiers operate as sports writers in the on-site Sportsbook operation, inputting betting information, printing tickets, and maintaining a bank.
14. Provides an entertaining, exciting, and memorable guest experience.
15. Performs other related duties as assigned and promotes superior guest service.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Basic computer input skills.
2. Previous money handling experience preferred.
3. Must be able to interact with the public in a highly professional and positive manner.
4. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
5. Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.

Work Shift: Regular
