Job summary

Golden Nugget Atlantic City is hiring a Casino Cage Cashier to manage exchanges of chips, vouchers, and currency. You will assist in jackpots and credit applications while ensuring accuracy and compliance with NJ regulations.

The role emphasizes cash handling, guest services, and adherence to internal controls, with a customer-friendly, fast-paced environment and tips. A valid Casino Employee Registrant License is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cash handling experience; six months of cage cashier experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer terminal and communicate with the public clearly.
• Solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Control and accounting of transactions for the cage window, main bank, chip bank and check bank
• Deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions
• Maintain compliance with NJ DGE regulations, IRS Currency Transaction reporting laws and internal controls
• Perform guest and in-house monetary transactions
• Balance and issue impress bank to Floor Attendants, F&B and Hotel employees
• Report and log all Title 31 transactions
• Follow NJAC Admin Code and Golden Nugget Atlantic City controls for cashiers, slot cashiers and chip persons
