Job summary

Golden Nugget Atlantic City is hiring a Casino Cage Cashier to assist guests with exchanging chips and vouchers for U.S. currency and to help payout jackpots.

The role requires accurate cash handling, adherence to NJ DGE regulations, and strong customer service in a fast-paced casino environment. Candidates should have at least one year of cash handling experience, be able to operate a computer terminal, and be willing to obtain a Casino Employee Registrant License.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cash handling experience; six months of cage cashier experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer terminal and communicate with the public clearly and friendly.
• Solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn additional areas and demonstrate a positive, team player attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, hands-on environment.
• Must obtain a valid Casino Employee Registrant License.
• Shift and hours flexibility required.

Responsibilities

• Control and accounting of transactions for the cage window, main bank, chip bank and check bank.
• Deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions.
• Maintain compliance with NJ DGE regulations and Internal Controls.
• Perform guest and in-house monetary transactions.
• Comply with regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as delegated by management.
• Balance and issue impress bank to Floor Attendants, Food & Beverage and Hotel employees.
• Report and log all Title 31 transactions.
