Table Mountain Casino Inc. is seeking a Cage Cashier to safeguard assets by handling monetary transactions for guests accurately and courteously. You will manage cash, chips, and tickets at the front cage window and maintain meticulous records in line with gaming regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior cashiering experience, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings. Expect flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays in a busy casino setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year cashiering experience preferably in a casino or banking environment.
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background check, obtain and maintain gaming license.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, guest service, attention to detail and problem solving skills required.
• Must be able to successfully pass Title 31 training.

Responsibilities

• Records all cash coming into the cage area; maintains accurate inventory and balance of monies and chips received.
• Executes accurate monetary transactions for casino patrons in a prompt and courteous manner according to established policies, procedures and regulations.
• Operates front cage window, including cashing patron checks, purchasing and redeeming chips, and redeeming coupons and complimentary items for cash according to specified guidelines.
• Maintains accuracy of the chip bank inventory, pit fills and credits as well as the transfer of funds in the jackpot window.
• Ensures appropriate documentation and signatures on all required transactions.
• Maintains an accurate count of the frontline, jackpot and chip banks.
• Attends and participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
• Performs drop and count procedures in accordance with gaming and company regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
• Issue and drop employee banks.
• Control, safeguard, reconcile, verify and report assigned Cage inventory and assets.
• Adhere to governmental regulations, Casino-wide and Cage policies, procedures and processes.
• Sell tickets, gift certificates, etc., as required.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of assigned areas and alert management of any hazards throughout the Cage and the Casino.
• Provide prompt, courteous guest service to both internal and external guests at all times, following guest service standards.
• Provide information to guests regarding Casino locations, events, promotions, activities and offerings.
• Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
• Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
