Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland in Bossier City is seeking a Cage Cashier to handle rewards enrollments, redemptions, and cash transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory rules.

The role requires communicating with guests, processing cash and check transactions, and maintaining accurate reconciliations while promoting outstanding guest service in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work in a casino environment with alcohol and smoke.
• Must secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or Live’s operating standards.

Responsibilities

• Relays Live! Rewards card uses and benefits to each guest, and describes current and upcoming promotions.
• Issues Live! Rewards cards to new and existing guests efficiently and accurately.
• Assists Live! Rewards members with redemption transactions.
• Exchange chips for cash and Slot tickets for cash.
• Performs check cashing and counter check transactions for slot patron.
• Assists customers in completion of check cashing and front money applications.
• Responsible for chips/cash in assigned window.
• Maintain a neat and well-stocked window for next shift (Cash - Chips – Supplies).
• Responsible for processing transactions accurately and maintaining reconciliations.
• When assisting the Casino Credit Clerk or above will be responsible for processing credit applications.
• Perform the required verifications in accordance with regulations for casino credit applications.
• Will notify the Casino Credit Executive and above of any critical information on any credit reports.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls of the State Gaming Agency.
• Promotes superior guest service.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Must be 21 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience in high volume cash operations.
• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements

• 24/7 operation requiring extended hours and the ability and willingness meet the applicant’s schedules when needed.
• Casino is over large and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.
