Summary Description:

The Cage Cashier is responsible for safeguarding company assets, balancing various bank drawers within the Cage/Credit area of the Finance Department, and maintaining accuracy throughout all phases of the balancing process.

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

• Safeguard assets.
• Accurately balance assigned bank.
• Ensure compliance with Title 31 guidelines, including preparing CTRs and MTLs.
• Cash chips for guests courteously and promptly.
• Redeem HHR Machine payout tickets, TITO, and vouchers for cash following proper procedures.
• Perform hand pays for guests.
• Assist with clearing jams and resetting HHR machines on the gaming floor.
• Perform credit card and EFTPOS cash advances.
• Count and reconcile drawer at the end of shift.
• Prepare Table Fills and receive Table Credits.
• Handle chip transfers between front windows, chip banks, and main banks.
• Balance the inventory of the Chip Bank.
• Maintain accurate and legible balance sheets.
• Perform vault functions, managing and maintaining custody of coin, currency, checks, and records of cage transactions during shift.
• Assist the Cage Shift Manager in maintaining accurate records.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of internal activities.
• Assist other Cashiers as needed.
• Perform HHR Jackpot Payouts.
• Prepare W2G’s and other jackpot tax forms as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
• Previous gaming or banking experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
