ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Cage Supervisor, the Cage Cashier is responsible for controlling and accounting for transactions at the cage. Cage Cashiers may assist with the credit function by accepting credit applications and processing gaming and credit reports, but will not have access to credit files. They provide excellent customer service to employees and vendors in all situations. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Indiana Grand Racing & Casino policies, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Commission.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required. Three to six (3-6) months of cash handling experience is required; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Must be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Good interpersonal skills and effective communication with guests and team members are essential. Must have good math skills and the ability to operate computer software and 10-key adding machines. Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift. Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps, and sitting are required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
