The Poker Cage / Cashier is responsible for handling financial transactions within the poker room, including exchanging cash for chips, processing buy-ins, and assisting with payouts. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy in cash handling, and excellent customer service skills. The Poker Cage / Cashier will also interact with guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience in a fast-paced gaming environment.

Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct cash buy-ins and cash-outs for poker chips, following strict cash handling procedures.
- Process credit card transactions for cage services.
- Accurately count and verify chip denominations.
- Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
- Report any suspicious activity to a supervisor immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience handling cash in a fast-paced environment (preferred).
- Strong math skills and ability to perform accurate calculations under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight (cash drawers).
- Knowledge of poker (a plus, but not required).
- Casino gaming environment with noise, bright lights, and high-energy atmosphere.

This position is an on-site role.Requires working shifts that can last several hours with prolonged periods of repetitive motions, sitting, standing, and walking throughout the facility.Frequent use of a computer, cash register, and other office equipment requires repetitive hand and wrist movements.Must be able to maintain focus and composure under pressure while processing transactions.Must be comfortable handling cash, chips, and large sums of money accurately.Frequent interaction with guests, requiring clear communication and customer service skills.Comfort working in a loud, busy environment with background noise from the poker games.The ability to operate computers and point-of-sale systems.Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.Flexibility to work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the operational needs of the poker room.Job Details :
