Job summary

Grand Lake Casino in Grove, OK is seeking a Cage Cashier to join our Cash Services team. The role handles vouchers, checks, cash, and chips while maintaining accurate records and delivering friendly, efficient service to guests.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, cash handling and customer service experience, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and obtain a tribal gaming license. This is a full-time, on-site position with day shifts.

Position Summary — The Cage Cashier is responsible for cashing vouchers, checks, change, chips and tracking all MTL-MIL transactions.

Essential Functions

• Performs money transactions such as cashing tickets, currency for currency or redemption of chips/tokens.
• Efficiently handles large volumes of cash.
• Develops, applies, and maintains a friendly rapport with customers and staff.
• Informs customers about daily promotions.
• Keeps work area clean and supplies stocked.
• Responsible for following Title 31 reporting requirements.

Other Requirements

• Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license and a state issued I.D. All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening prior to beginning employment. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time; stoop, bend, twist and lift up to 35 pounds regularly; have good dexterity and grip.

Work Environment

• Grand Lake Casino is a drug and alcohol-free workplace; Must be able to work in a casino environment which includes high levels of smoke, dust, noise, and bright flashing lights.

Special Working Conditions

• This position requires the flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to work under pressure.
