Cage and Vault Clerk PT Evenings/Overnight
Full Time | Canton

General Description

This position is responsible for providing the highest standard of guest service by performing efficient cash transactions by following Lucky Star Casino’s cash handling policies and procedures in accordance with National Indian Gaming Commission Minimum Internal Control Standards.

Work Schedule

  • Requires morning, afternoons, evenings and night shifts. Monday through Sunday.
  • Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval from supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Will comply with overall cash handling policies and procedures of the casino as well as the personnel policies.
  • Redeem VGM tickets and/or chips, cash checks, and change out currency for customers.
  • Responsible for maintaining and reconciling a cash drawer or vault bank.
  • Verification of departmental banks, payouts and drop proceeds.
  • Creating and verification of daily deposits.
  • Track customer wins/cash advances for gaming day; maintaining MTL(Multiple Transaction Log) as necessary.
  • Must perform assigned duties in highly interruptive conditions with constant time pressures and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and co-workers.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Stand/walk continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
  • Requires finger dexterity, grasping, bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
  • Move objects up to and exceeding 25lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
  • Casino environment with exposure to smoke; loud mechanical noise and bright flashing lights.

Qualification Standards

  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.
  • Must maintain valid Cheyenne-Arapaho Gaming Commission.
  • High School diploma or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be computer literate with excellent math and communication skills.
