This pivotal role involves preparing and serving nutritious meals to students within the district, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and maintaining a clean working environment. This position offers a regular schedule aligned with the school year's business hours.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

\- Food Preparation and Serving: Prepare and serve food items to students, ensuring proper food handling, portion sizes, and temperature control to meet health standards and student satisfaction.

\- Kitchen and Cafeteria Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and cafeteria areas to uphold safety and health regulations. This includes cleaning utensils, equipment, and various preparation and serving areas.

\- Inventory Management: Organize food, condiments, and supplies to ensure availability and security of items.

\- Support and Training: Assist and mentor student workers to promote a safe, efficient, and educational work environment.

\- Equipment Upkeep: Report any equipment malfunctions and maintain all areas and equipment in a sanitary and safe condition, adhering to health standards.

\- Professional Development: Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, workshops, etc., as required to stay informed and perform job duties effectively.

\- Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall operations of the school's nutrition program.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
