Job summary

Middleborough Public Schools in Middleborough, Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Monitor for Mary K. Goode Elementary School to maintain a safe, welcoming lunch environment for students. Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and oversee social interactions among children.
• Experience working with elementary aged children.
• Experience in an educational or instructional setting.
• Experience in a cafeteria environment is a plus.
• Proven reliability and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff during lunch periods to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all students.
• Support preparation for student recognition programs in the cafeteria.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and activities during lunch.
• Assist with organization and decoration of assigned areas.
• Implement and track behavior strategies and programs under administration.
• Perform tasks as assigned by administrators.
