Job summary

Middleborough Public Schools in Middleborough, Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Monitor for Mary K. Goode Elementary School to maintain a safe, welcoming lunch environment for students. You will assist staff during lunch, support student recognition activities, help coordinate social interactions, and help with decorating and organization under school administration.

• Ability to multi-task and oversee social interactions among children.
• Experience working with elementary aged children.

• Proven reliability and ability to follow directions.

Job Description

To assist school staff and/or administration during lunch periods in order to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all students.

Job Description and Goals

Responsible for assisting staff to ensure the safety of children during lunch

Preparation for student recognition programs in the cafeteria

Responsible for assisting the facilitation of social interactions and activities during lunch

Responsible for aiding in the organization and/or decorating of assigned areas

Responsible for implementing and tracking of behavior strategies and programs within the cafeteria setting as overseen by administration

Responsible for assisting with tasks as assigned by administration

Position Type: Part-time

Salary: $15 Per Hour
