Job summary

Great Western Dining Service is seeking a friendly and energetic Cafeteria Staff member for the Southeast Community College - Milford location. This part-time role involves weekend shifts (Saturday-Sunday 10am-1pm and 4:45pm-6:45pm) and supports meal preparation, serving, and occasional catering.

You will rotate through cafeteria positions, help set up serving lines, and ensure food is kept at safe temperatures while maintaining a clean work area. A positive, guest-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly and positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Background in customer service and hospitality.
• Fluent in any language other than English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals.
• Participate in occasional catering functions.
• Perform all positions within the cafeteria.
• Assist with the set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at the required temperature.
• Keep work areas clean, neat, and organized.
• Service with a smile!
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
