Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Non-Instructional Assistant Cafeteria and/or Playground at Adams Elementary School in Mesa, AZ. Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience working with and/or supervising children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the activities of students in the cafeteria and/or on the playground
• Counsel and intervene with students to ensure acceptable behavior
• Report observations and incidents to appropriate school personnel
• Respond to emergency situations to address immediate safety concerns
• Assist students during lunchtime
• Perform routine cleaning tasks (spill cleanup on tables, floor, etc.)
• Maintain regular and on-time attendance
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support school operations
