Job summary

Western Oaks Elementary in Bethany, Oklahoma is seeking a Cafeteria Monitor/Playground Aide to support dining services and student supervision during meals.

You will assist students in the serving line, help wipe tables, direct them to seating, and ensure cleanliness and safety according to district policies. This is a nine-month, part-time position with salary to be established by the Board of Education.

Qualifications

• Able to read, speak and comprehend basic English.
• High School Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist students through the serving line, and direct them to assigned tables (when so advised by the principal).
• Circulate among tables during the meal period to assist students as needed and wipe tables after each use.
• Inform designated school personnel of any disciplinary problems caused by students.
• Replenish and clean condiment area as needed.
• Organize students for the orderly disposal of trays and utensils at the conclusion of the meal.
• Learn and follow all national, state, Sodexho Marriott Services and school district policies and programs as well as health department regulations.
