Job summary

Putnam City D. D. Kirkland Elementary is seeking a Cafeteria Monitor to support orderly dining services in Oklahoma City. The role emphasizes good interpersonal skills and customer service for students during meals.

The position is on a nine-month basis with salary to be established by the Board of Education; reports to the Building Principal and Sodexho Marriott/Director of Food Services. Immediate start date is requested.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak and understand basic English.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students through the serving line and direct them to tables as advised by the principal.
• Circulate among tables during meals to help students and wipe tables after use.
• Inform designated staff of any disciplinary issues by students as directed by site principal.
• Restock and clean condiment area as needed.
• Organize students for orderly disposal of trays and utensils after meals.
• Learn and follow all applicable policies, health regulations, and district rules.
