Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking a Food Service Associate to support the Food and Nutrition Services department across cafeteria, cold prep, patient services, and sanitation duties. You will prepare and serve meals, assist with tray assembly and delivery, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety guidelines in a fast-paced hospital setting.

• Demonstrated ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be available for weekend work.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve from steam table and grill/deli lines and restock as needed.
• Prepare salad bars, dressings and cold sandwiches for patients and café spaces.
• Assemble patient trays following dietary guidelines and proper portions.
• Deliver trays to patients accurately and efficiently; interact professionally with patients.
• Clean equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings in assigned areas; maintain sanitation.
• Operate dish machine, transport carts and kitchen equipment per instructions.
• Ensure proper labeling, dating and rotation of all food items.
