Omaha Public Schools is seeking a Backup Manager to support Cafeteria operations at Highland Elementary. This full-time role starts at $20.78 per hour and includes benefits, with duties that include assisting in meal prep, serving, sanitation, stock rotation, and supervising staff in the manager's absence.

The position requires a high school diploma, completion of the Manager Training program, basic math skills, and knowledge of food safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Manager Training completed with 80%+ within previous year required.
• Basic arithmetic with money, weights, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, serving, and storage of food.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and kitchen areas.
• Rotate stock and supplies; operate dish machine as needed.
• Supervise staff in the absence of the Cafeteria Manager.
• Assist with required reports and customer service recovery.
