Cabarrus County Schools SNP is seeking a part-time School Nutrition Program Assistant II in Mount Pleasant, NC. The position supports meal preparation, serving, sanitation, and cashier duties in a school cafeteria environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), NC driver license, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Certification and kitchen experience are desirable. Position reports to the SNP Manager and offers part-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HiSET desired.
• ServSafe Manager certification desired.
• General kitchen experience.
• Valid North Carolina driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a cashier.
• Washes and wraps fresh fruit; measures and cups canned fruit.
• Washes and measures ingredients for salads.
• Prepares specialty fruit and assists in vegetable preparation.
• Prepares food for next day.
• Cleans and sanitizes work area.
• Counts money for petty cash, opens register, and reconciles register at end of day.
• Prepares food, washes dishes, cleans up kitchen area.
• Serves food.
• Operates equipment.
• Completes daily records.
• Stocks food and supplies.
