Job summary

Valparaiso Community School District is looking for a Cafeteria Lunch Aide at Ben Franklin Middle School to supervise students during lunch and ensure a safe and orderly environment. You will monitor restrooms, coordinate student movement to lunch lines, assist with cleaning, and supervise hallways.

Ideal candidates will have a professional demeanor and be ready to assist with additional duties as needed. This part-time role offers $14.05 per hour for 2.5 hours daily across a school year.

Qualifications

• As deemed appropriate by Building Level Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in a professional manner in the cafeteria while waiting in lines and eating.
• Monitor Restrooms.
• Coordinate the direction of students to the lunch lines in an organized manner.
• Assist with cleaning up the cafeteria.
• Assist with supervision in the hallways as students return to class.
• Other duties assigned by principal.
