Responsibilities

• Tends foods that are cooking and tests progress; adjusts time/temperature and adds seasonings as directed.
• Prepares vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses and other foods; measures and mixes ingredients per recipes.
• Prepares servings of food and assembles patient trays or food truck containers.
• Cleans utensils, equipment and work area; stores food and follows sanitation/safety standards.
• Operates ovens, broilers, grills and other kitchen equipment as directed.
