Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cafeteria and Food Service worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness standards, and providing excellent customer service in a cafeteria setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafeteria area, including food preparation and serving areas.
• Assist in stocking inventory, rotating stock, and ensuring proper storage of food supplies.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to safety and sanitation regulations.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to cafeteria patrons.
• Handle cash transactions, operate cash registers, and reconcile daily sales reports.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the cafeteria.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service or cafeteria operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate must pass a Level II FBI fingerprint check and complete all mandatory training.
