Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma: high school or equivalent preferred.
• Certification: ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increases or decreases recipe yield and adjustments with manager approval.
• Reviews weekly menu and adjusts recipes to yield; pulls food from freezer and prepares.
• Notifies manager of ingredient needs for timely ordering.
• Implements food service policies and HACCP standards.
• Keeps kitchen clean and sanitary; operates equipment safely.
• Performs cashier duties and maintains customer balances.
• Accounts for USDA reimbursable meals.
• Assists in emergencies and supports other kitchen positions as needed.
