Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a Cafeteria Associate to support daily food service in our Main Cafeteria at NYC sites. You will deliver outstanding customer service to patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining clean, organized workstations.

You will assist with meal preparation, handling transactions, and contributing to a welcoming dining environment for all guests. This is a fast-paced role requiring flexibility across shifts, including early mornings and evenings.

Role Overview

Core Skills

• Proficient in basic math functions for handling transactions.

• Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift, carry, and push equipment up to 30 lbs.

• Previous experience in food service, customer service, or cash handling required .

• A Food Handler's Certificate is a plus.

• At least one year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.

Additional Information

• Location: 1275 York Ave ( NYC Sites )

• Schedule: Various shifts available Monday - Friday, 4:30AM - 12:30AM, including rotating weekends. Holidays required .
