Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a dependable Cafeteria Associate to join a busy cafeteria team in Spencer, IN. You will assist with food preparation, salad bar setup, serving, stocking, cashier duties, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Schedule is Mon-Fri 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, pay is $15.00 per hour, with benefits available to eligible Express Associates including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items including hot foods, lunch meats, cheeses, vegetables, and salad bar items.
• Set up and maintain the salad bar throughout meal periods.
• Assist with the changeover from breakfast to lunch.
• Stock food, supplies, and other cafeteria items as needed.
• Operate the cash register during meal periods.
• Serve food items from the hot bar.
• Provide prompt, polite, and courteous customer service.
• Clean and maintain stock rooms, kitchen areas, and dining areas.
• Sweep and mop floors and maintain overall cafeteria cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with the Supervisor and other cafeteria personnel to support a productive team environment.
• Assist with food preparation, stocking, customer service, and general cafeteria operations.

This position will assist with food preparation, salad bar setup, serving, stocking, cashier duties, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in providing polite, courteous service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Job Summary

• ServSafe certification is helpful, but not required
