Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas cafeteria team member needed to support daily operations in Topeka. You will handle prep, warewashing, serving, and stocking, contributing to a standard of EXCELLENCE in product and customer experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of industrial food service experience; training on commercial cooking equipment is provided. Competitive compensation and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in industrial food service (1+ years) is preferred.
• Ability to follow set standards and maintain food safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Follow portion sizes and quality standards.
• Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation.
• Complete daily shift work on time and with excellence.
• Use FIFO inventory rotation to maintain storage standards.
• Ensure regular attendance as required by policy.
• Comply with corporate compliance programs and confidentiality policies.
• Assist with on-campus delivery of meals.
