Newport Hospital & Health Services in Newport, WA is hiring a Cafeteria Aide to serve meals, stock supplies, and help with basic food preparation in a hospital cafeteria setting. You will work under the Dietary Manager and interact with residents, staff and visitors.

Under the supervision of the Dietary Manager or Supervisor, the Cafeteria Worker performs a variety of food services, including serving food to residents, employees and visitors. Also is responsible for the clean-up and stocking of the cafeteria and food preparation areas. Cafeteria Aide will be responsible for washing dishes as needed, stocking supplies in Assisted Living Nutrition Rooms, and performing basic food preparation in food production areas. (Includes job titles such as Salad Maker, Vegetable Preparer, Cook’s Helper, Dessert Preparer, etc.)
Primary Scheduled Hours: Days, variable shifts, 80 hours per pay period
High school graduate or equivalent.
Required Licensure / Certifications:
Food & Beverage Card.
Required Experience:
Food service training or prior experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful candidates typically begin between the beginning and midpoint of the compensation range dependent on qualifications/experience and receive compensation in increments increases annually.
