Job summary

Sylvania is looking for a cafeteria aide to support cafeteria supervisory staff in a school setting. The role includes assisting students, monitoring behavior, and helping with serving and cleanup to maintain a clean, sanitary dining area.

The ideal candidate is bilingual and able to work with students and staff to ensure smooth meal service and good conduct during dining times.

DESCRIPTION:

Cafeteria aides assist the cafeteria supervisory staff (Principal, Instructional Associate and/or Teacher) by assisting students. Student assistance includes, but is not limited to: monitoring and positively reinforcing expected behaviors, purchasing food, opening containers, serving condiments, assisting in disposal of food waste and service items and ensuring a clean and sanitary dining room. SALARY:

$16.35 per hour
