Job summary

NexDine Westborough is seeking a Café Worker to support front-of-house operations, serve customers, and assist with light food preparation, including grab-and-go items.

You will work with the Chef and Manager, help with dishwashing, trash removal and keeping dining areas clean and welcoming. A can-do attitude and excellent customer service are essential.

The role is full-time with a steady schedule, weekly pay, and benefits such as health, dental & vision insurance, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous food/customer service experience preferred in corporate dining.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

In addition, the Café Worker will work as part of a team assisting with washing dishes, trash removal and other utility-related duties. We all work together as a team!This is a front of the house position; exceptional customer service skills with a can-do attitude are a must!Essential Functions and Key Tasks:Responsible assist guests as neededSet up and restock product, displays, coolers and workstations as neededLight food prep including baking cookies, preparing salads and grab and go itemsTransfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks or cartsWash dishes, pots and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand as well as trash removal and storage in appropriate containersMake sure the guests are being taken care of and the serving and seating areas look clean and presentable at all timesProvide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking guests entering and exiting the caféIn addition, the Café Worker works with and takes direction from the Chefs and the ManagerRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious food/customer service experience preferably within a corporate dining settingMust be dependable and have excellent customer service skillsMust be able to pull and lift up to 40 poundsMust be able to work independently as well as a team player
