Job summary

The Walmart Sam's Club team in Ames, IA is hiring to support prepared foods, guest service and inventory duties. You will learn product specs, assist members with purchases and help maintain quality and date control while working with cross-functional teams.

You will follow food safety standards, operate and sanitize equipment, and use handheld devices to drive sales and improve the shopping experience for members.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of prepared food merchandise and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare food according to item specifications and plan for seasonality and mass production, while adhering to food safety standards.
• Operate, maintain and sanitize equipment; manage inventory and ensure quality and date control; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolving issues.
• Leverage handheld technology to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and support team training and product quality.
