Job summary

Urban Air Adventure Parks is seeking a Café Lead to oversee shift operations of the Urban Air Café in Colorado. This hands-on role focuses on cooking, preparing, and serving food, with emphasis on fast, friendly service and guiding the Café Team.

The Café Lead will train staff on the full menu and drinks, uphold food safety standards, and ensure cleanliness. Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive guest-focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required, some College preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of prior food and beverage experience (Quick Service and/or restaurant experience).
• One (1) year of leadership experience preferred.
• Must have a current ServSafe or similar food handling certification, or be willing to get one within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee proper execution of all processes, systems, and standards.
• Ensure deliveries are received correctly and logged when the Café Manager is absent.
• Maintain storage and rotation to minimize wastage.
• Manage the Café Team to meet expected standards.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts and stay beyond when needed.
• Train Café Team in preparing full menu and front-of-house in drinks and ready-to-eat foods to high standards.
• Set high standards for punctuality, attendance, and attitude; maintain cleanliness and hygiene with regular deep cleans.
• Maintain organized Café and storage areas.
• Handle guest concerns in the Café in the absence of the Café Manager.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and training.
